Apartment search: awesome place rejected

Hey!! I just got a Yoga tape in the mail!! thanks zoe for sending that to me!!! Woohoo, now I can do Yoga!

We checked out the apartment. It was amazing, it was perfect, it was an ideal layout and size, and it was in our price range. And it’s for July first. *sigh* That truly sucks. We could put in an application, and we could probably scrounge the money for first and last, but we’d basically be forfeiting the 650$ that I’ve already paid on this apartment for my last month’s rent. It would be ‘lost money.’ I tried to convince jay that losing 650$ is worth having an amazing apartment, but he thinks we should keep looking. *sigh* Somehow I had a feeling this place would be amazing… it’s got a skylight in the living room, and a fireplace, and laundry in the building, and the kitchen has a spot for a small table (which I have). The bedroom isn’t huge, but we don’t need a huge bedroom if we’ve got space in the living room to put the computers (which there is.) It was perfect, and ideal, and everything I want in an apartment. Even the bathroom was big. Maybe I’ve been living in a postage stamp sized place for too long, I don’t know. It was perfect. But it’s not going to happen. We can’t just throw away 650$. Bleah.

    Sanity!

Knowing the size of your one room I would suggest delaying the pooter and monitor and going for it!
You have got to get out of there before you go crazy!

      Re: Sanity!

Been here for a year and seven months… one more month isn’t that big a deal after that. *sigh* I’m just impatient. Always have been.
