On a guitar plateau

My eyes are all dried out from staring at my monitor. I’m putting in my eyedrops now *blink*blink*blink* there, that’s better.

Last night around 10:15 or so, Sympatico (our ISP) kicked us offline. I got annoyed for a bit, then took the opportunity to play some guitar. My fingers are a touch sore today, I guess I don’t really practice my guitar often enough. I need to learn more, practice more, find the drive I used to have for learning guitar… I’ve been stuck at the same place for too long. I’ve considered doing lessons, but a lot of people have told me that’s a bad idea. I haven’t wanted to learn a new song in a long time, though… and I’m sure there are some things I could learn if I did take lessons. I just don’t know.

Well, I can’t take lessons for a while anyhow, not til after we move, since I want to save as much money as I can for that. I’ve never had enough money when I moved before, it was always a panicked last-minute thing, or a ‘leaving the boyfriend’ thing, or I was just really really poor at the time. It’d be a nice change to not be panicking about money when I move. I think I’ll look in the classifieds online today for an apartment.
