      No snow here yet… It’s nice out, if a touch chilly.

      I am tired of working here. Hoping I can get something else very soon… especially now that the boy has a job. 🙂

    A Dose of Reality

    It was a freakish accident and so very preventable. Somebody was stupid, but you can’t necessarily blame the kids. Maybe some good will come of this, but at such a high price. Maybe some kid will think twice when he gets a job and someone tells him/her to do something that isn’t safe.

    I once had to investigate the death of 16 year-old who was working nights in a factory on a work-study program. He was overcome by Freon 113 vapors in a confined space and was dead on arrival at the hospital. These kinds of accidents piss me off. All accidents are preventable, even “freak” accidents.
