Hooray for friday… sort of.

I’m so moody today. And I didn’t have the nerve to outright quit or anything… I had to find out what other options might exist that I hadn’t thought of… and there actually was one. HR Girl suggested I split my job up… take two jobs, part time, right here. There are no other positions open right now except data entry (the Lowest of the Low, and I don’t mean the band…) and I’m not going back there. The other option is to work part time in the Sales department as an administrative assistant, doing filing and paperwork and such for the sales guys. I like the sales guys… they’re pretty entertaining.

I found out on break today that two of the people who worked here quit in a rather volatile scene after I left early on wednesday. They got into a heated discussion with a third party that ended in their quitting. I’m almost sorry I missed it.

No, it’s not an entirely stable workplace (stocks are down to an all-time low, I believe,) but neither is anywhere… Or so I’m told.

I’d love to have a data entry job right now, if it meant I didn’t have to deal with the public. 🙂 Not a job I’d want for a long time though.

It’s okay for a few weeks… that’s what I started off doing at this company. It was easy and mindless and you could listen to anything you wanted on your headphones… but it got boring fast.

      I don’t do bored well.

        Re: boring

Yeah, boring sucks. And I see how it can quickly become boring. Then again, so is sitting around all day doing nothing 🙁

I need to move to some place that actually has jobs available, that don’t completely suck.

      Re: rose

That I don’t know, since I had left for home by then. I’m almost sorry I went home, I hate hearing things 2nd hand and not finding out everything that’s happening. Ahh well… it’ll all be clear later, I guess.
