Last night, the BSD box (our gateway) imploded. Jay spent the night fixing it, he didn’t come to bed until around 7am. It works now, though. Anyhow, that meant that I had no net all night last night, so I just played Drakan for a while (I haven’t touched THAT since last summer…) and played some guitar and watched late night television until I couldn’t stare at it anymore. I caught the last 10 minutes or so of South Park, which I haven’t watched in years.

I’m waiting for a call or message from Adam to let me know what time he’ll be getting into town, and where I’m going to have to find him.

I have no idea what to play tomorrow night. I really wish I could find someone to just play guitar for me, so that I wouldn’t have to worry about it… but no one lives around here and no one ever wants to make the trek out here. I would go practice with someone in another part of town… but there’s no one I can ask right now. I’ve always been outside the actual loop… I just know people who are on the inside. Maybe I could talk to EeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEeeeeeeee and see what he thinks… After all, he pretty much taught me to play guitar, so I know that we can play together, if nothing else.

i should ask my son, hes 18…he plays guitar, but can only read tab…you would have ta send it…he plays more heavy metal/rock, but hes tried everything, hes even recorded some guitar for a play…hes good…he would have ta practice first…maybe for next time…we don’t live that far from you…and it would be a hell of an experience for him, which he needs, i think hes only played upfront of an audience once when they won the battle of the bands…what do ya think

That might be cool… assuming, of course, that he can deal with the idea of playing Blue Rodeo, Barenaked Ladies, Indigo Girls, and other acoustic folk-rock type stuff… He would be welcome to come out to the open stage and play his own stuff if he wanted to, as well…

There were maybe 50 or more at the one last weekened… (then again, I can’t count, so quite probably more than that.)

Umm… asking me to pick a song, eh? Uhm… I’m not that good at that sort of thing.

How about Least Complicated, by indigo girls?

Well, they didn’t card me, but I got there relatively early (just after 8pm.) Being a bar, I would guess that he might get carded on the way in… They weren’t carding that early, though.
