*blink*

Yesterday was good. I went out with Belli and Jay to the mall, then we dropped Jay off at home and Belli and I went downtown to Queen West to the Lush store there. We wandered around some cool clothing stores, too… I saw an atari shirt that I wanted, but didn’t pick it up. It was only 15$… I don’t know why I didn’t get it. Oh well… I did buy a bunch of Bath Bombs at Lush, so those should be nice.

After that, Belli and I decided that we wanted to have a sleepover, so I went back to her place, and her husband went out for the evening. It was really nice to just sit around and drink wine and talk like girls for a while. I really needed that time out of the house. We went to sleep around 3am or so, and woke up when the baby woke up… well, Belli woke up, I just sort of lay around on the floor in a haze for a few hours. Then the baby went back to sleep, and we got another two hours of actual sleep before he woke up again.

Her husband decided to make us brunch, which was wonderful… the baby was up for a while, then got cranky… it’s a teething thing. Once the baby was asleep again, we had a wonderful brunch with berries and custard and eggs and bacon and potatoes and toast and orange juice and tetley tea. It was sweet.

She brought me home a little while ago, and I’m headed out shortly to meet someone for coffee out at lettieri for 3pm. Trying to catch up on lj in the meatime…

      Yeah… it was lovely.

I also learned that they keep little jars of coffee beans in the store, and if the smell is bugging you, you can open the jar and inhale the coffee scent, and it makes you feel much better… I was very very happy to learn this.

it can get to the point where it’s unbearable in the store, though. even i who usually doesn’t have a problem with over-smelly smells can turn and refuse to enter! (that sounded wrong)
