    earthquake

    yeah, it was pretty spooky. for a split second, I didn’t quite believe what was happening. the bed was shaking, and trinkets rattling around the shelves. I leapt up and scrunched under the doorframe (as if that would provide any sort of protection) and counted to 60. that’s one good thing school drilled into me – earthquake preparation 🙂

    I am not embarrassed to say I was frightened out of my wits.

      Heh… I know I would be. I’ve slept through every minor earthquake we’ve ever had in ontario… but I got to watch all the tv reporting of that big one in LA years ago. And I used to like watching scarey natural disaster movies, until I realized just how paranoid they made me feel…
