Pick a word. Any word. Write it down. Then see what other words come to join it.

I never gnash my teeth. I’m not even sure what, exactly, is involved in gnashing one’s teeth. If I knew how, that is certainly what I would have been doing when I received a memo from our Information Systems department concerning computer use. It was back-dated, of course. Allegedly the policy of not using computers for anything except the IS-approved uses (email, word processing, spreadsheets, and database use — and the latter only after sublmitting a request in triplicate and signed by your supervisor, his boss, and a random array of people walking down the corridor whether they work there or not) went into effect about a month ago. I would have been gnashing my teeth because I didn’t even remember making this policy or sending out the memo. And yet, my name was at the top of the memo as the sender…

I’m pretty sure I could account for all of my time over the last few months, so I had to wonder who was wandering around pretending to be me.

I had so much fun I decided to start a new instance of the exercise in my LJ (and check it out for a new game i’m thinking of starting).
