I’ve realized that I’m exceptionally bad at saying thank you when appropriate. Now I feel bad.

Adam’s feeling kinda yucky, so he’s taking a nap. Dayle, who is also not feeling up to par, is sleeping on top of Adam. They’re cute. Dayle’s bandage on his tail is amusing, too. He’s back to begging at the door to be let out again, however, which is annoying. It’s not going to happen, either. No more outside for him.

Tomorrow we have to take Dayle back for a follow-up checkup. He should be fine, they’ll likely just rebandage his tail and send him home with us. I just hope that’s not going to cost as much as the first trip did… I’m quite rapidly going through our rather limited savings by spending it on vet bills, and I don’t know what sort of income we’ll have after next Sunday when we move.

Next Sunday… that’s just odd to think about. That means there’s only one week left to get everything packed up and ready to go, one week left living in this city. I’ll be back to visit often enough, might even end up just moving back here if that’s how jobs work out. We shall see what happens in time…

As for the thank you thing.. I tend to have the same problem.
I don’t know what it is… but then, sometimes, even when you say thank you, it’s not enough.
