My cats have vanished.
I saw Sera when I got up this morning, but she quickly disappeared. Dayle I haven’t seen since he was downstairs with Ian and I watching Iron Monkey late last night. They’re not answering when I call, but it’s a big house and they’re probably sleeping. Oh well. I guess I’ll have to wait a bit before I can give Dayle his meds. At least his tail is looking a lot better, and he doesn’t have to wear the cone any more. All the other reindeer… uh… I mean cats… used to laugh and call him names for that cone.
Another day of quietude and such. One of Adam’s friends called yesterday looking for Adam, I ended up going out with a few of them for coffee, which was nice. I talked to Adam this morning, they still don’t really know when they’re coming back. I may well end up having to go back down to Toronto.
Theoretically, Adam’s brother Jordy will be back from his girlfriend’s house today (that’s where he’s been since I arrived here.) That doesn’t mean I’ll see more than five minutes of him, though – he has an active social life. Ian and I might go to the movie theatre downtown to watch The Two Towers this afternoon, assuming it’s playing.
It really doesn’t feel like Christmas. I shall have to wait for Christmas to catch up with me.
Dialup doesn’t want to let me stay connected today.
