We got back to New Liskeard last night around 8:30pm. We didn’t drive back on Tuesday, as planned, because my fever was too high and I’m the only one who can drive on the 400 series highways. I’m still not well yet, but the fever’s gone at least. I ache everywhere from violent coughing, though. I’ve also had no appetite for days, so I’ve had to force myself to eat.

Sorry to those I hoped to visit on the way back from London, but I’d rather not subject anyone to this nasty illness I’ve acquired. I am also not very good company right now.

The trip to London on Monday was great fun. The car I was driving doesn’t have snow tires, and it started to dump wet snow all over us. Nothing like the feeling that you’re not in control of your vehicle at all. I put on my four ways and drove extremely slow til the first exit we could get off at. All the cars behind me also put on their four-ways, which was quite amusing… I started a trend!

Now I’m going to just not move for a while. I feel cruddy.

Heh… no, I got it checked out at a clinic in London. I am SARS-free, I just have a common flu virus.

Well thank god for that! Besides not wanting you sick, my entire household would wind up in quarantine!

Alright, I downloaded it but on the first try I got a different song, I listened to it and I love how it sounds, but I dont know who sings it or what the title of it is, so lets see if you do. It goes: “to make amends to comprehend to walk about the bends; now that we grown just to know how love is fake; but in the end…” (that’s all I got, sounds like the chorus). The song have a fast tempo so I couldn’t get all the words, but I hope you can help.

That *might* be Linkin Park’s earlier hit “In the End” (I have that cd) but the lyrics don’t sound exactly right… That one goes “I tried so hard and got so far but in the end it doesn’t even matter, I had to fall, to lose it all but in the end it doesn’t even matter…” at the chorus (which is sung) and has some pseudo-rap through the verses.

No it can’t be “In the End”, I already have that one on mp3, it sounds totally different from it. Maybe if I find a way to send it to you so you can hear it.

I also have this mystery song and I found this by typing in the lyrics i could make out. I got it when I tried to download Linkin Park- Somewhere I Belong. I also would really like to know who sings it and what it’s called. It’s driving me crazy because the singer sounds incredibly familiar. So if anyone finds out, please tell me.
