One thing I’ve learned living with Adam’s family for the past four months…

I am extremely possessive of both the things I have and my personal space. I am also very afraid of being in anyone else’s personal space unless I am very close to them. And I really, truly, sincerely enjoy having my own kitchen.

I called my mom last night. It was nice to talk to her for a bit, although difficult to concentrate because people in the house kept talking to me as well. I don’t multitask well on the phone. Maybe that’s why I don’t like it much, since I enjoy multitasking so much.

Jordy just screamed from the shower. I think someone ran the water on him and he either got scalded or frozen. Doh. I woke up super-early (for me) this morning and had a shower right when I woke up. It was reasonably nice, but then I sat in the TV room and talked to the cats because I couldn’t think of anything else to do for a while.

You know, when I get my own place again, I’m going to appreciate it a lot. Granted, I appreciated it a lot back when I had my own place, but hey.

Yeah, I miss having my own place, too. What I *DON’T* miss, however, is $440 a month rent… before utilities. Meanwhile, with thre… thr… grr… *visible strain* foooouuu..r roommates, it rarely, if ever, tops $300, WITH Utilities. Of course, as soon as we get rid of the ONE roomie we don’t count (and hide the body), it will be a LITTLE higher, but oh-so worth it. 🙂

Heh… When I was in Toronto we were paying 950$ (canadian) for a one bedroom apartment, plus utilities. I’ve kind of gotten used to the paying thing, though… unfortunately, I couldn’t actually maintain it (and that’s average price for a one bedroom there.)

        Okay, so… 950$ Canadian is… what? Like $100US? 😛

No, actually it’s $2.50 american when you do all the math 😉
