I’m still working on getting my computer downstairs online late one of these nights… linguafranca, I haven’t forgotten… 😉

Jordy’s mowing the lawn. It smells like fresh-cut grass, reminds me of when the Gap put out that perfume that smelled like fresh-cut grass. Haven’t seen it in years, I guess it didn’t work out for them.

I found Dayle wandering around outside this morning. He must have bolted when there were people here. At least he’s reasonably easy to catch. Now, of course, he’s whining to be let back out.

I should come up with something constructive to do today. I could go out on my bike, but it looks like it might rain.

Oh yeah… it’s Canada Day. Everyone should go post what they like about canada in the Secret Forums. You know you wanna…. If it doesn’t rain, we’re going to check out New Liskeard’s fireworks tonight. I’m told that the show is pretty good. Not quite up to par with Ottawa, but pretty good.

I *love* the smell of fresh cut grass (secondly only to the smell of fresh cut grass in a slight shower… maybe it’s the smell of the rain steaming on the recently dead lawn-mower), but I can’t imagine it as a PERFUME?! Hmm…

As for what I like about Canada: Mainly, you and Passticio. Yeah. Hey, I haven’t really been there! What can I say? Oh… and John Candy. Yeah… and your bacon is GREAT! Yeah… s’bout it, though, I guess.

Heh… by both of them, do you mean both words or both languages? 😉

Oh… words… What? Do you mean it’s not “O Canada?” in French?

heh… no, it’s still O Canada in French. I still remember all the words in french, which is strange since I haven’t had to sing it in french since about 1990 or so.
