Twisted Raspberry Smirnoff = Happiness in a glass!

I went out after work last night with a few people from work. It was fun, we tried some mix drinks made with Smirnoff’s Twisted Vodkas (flavoured stuff, it’s yummy) and they were all quite good. I enjoyed myself, anyhow.

My 3-day headache was still terrorizing me last night – the vodka took the edge off it while I was drinking, but by the time I got home it was back in full force. So after lying in bed for a while last night with the headache, long after the vodka had worn off, I decided to take a Naproxen. Oh man, those things are fantastic. I wish I could just buy the stuff up here… I suppose I could ask my doctor for a prescription, but that’d be uber-expensive after my health plan is gone.

Today is my second trip to the dentist, they’re going to do the cleaning today. I dreamed it was going to cost me $1000 and they were going to work on me for 8 1/2 hours. I also dreamed I had all my stuff in bags and boxes on a beach in the sand. Patrick from work was helping me clean my stuff up. It was very strange.

if it was an air pressure or tension headache, try this next time:
hot water bottle on the feet, cold compress on the head. i swear it really works! or at least takes the edge off.

I will definitely try that next time. I get a lot of tension headaches. My cold compress, however, is a bag of peas. 😉

better to use as a compress than eat them.

    Quick! Screen this comment! 😉

Hey, if you want I can ship you Naproxen. You’d have to pay for it of course. *grin* I feel bad for anyone who doesn’t have that wonder drug!

I get friends who are driving up to visit me from the states to smuggle it in for me. 🙂 I’m not sure that you can easily ship drugs across the border…

Oh sure I can. I’d just package it up, put a can of Pringles in there so it masks the “sound” and say that I’m sending you books. 🙂 They’ll never check.
