October Second: The day after my birthday.

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday. I wasn’t online to receive it then, but I got it today, and I’m very appreciative. 😀

Yesterday Adam, my mom and I went to Capilano Suspension Bridge, then down to Lonsdale Quay where we again had lunch, and across by Seabus to Stanley Park where we went to the Vancouver Aquarium. I wanna be a marine biologist when I grow up. On the way home, we stopped at Ikea for dinner, and it was good.

Today we drove down to White Rock with Mom & Merv, who had some business to do there. It was quite pretty, Adam & I walked along the beach at low tide and stared at birds and dying jellyfish. Them’s some big jellyfish. I poked at one with my shoe, it was kind of the texture of a gummi bear. We came back home and made lunch, and now I’m on the computer.

I’ve developed shin splints from all this walking around this week. I iced and elevated them last night, will do so again today. Adam’s mowing the front lawn (which seems made at least partially out of moss, quite oddly.)

Maybe I’ll apply at Ikea… the discount wouldn’t hurt when furnishing our future new apartment…

Oh man.. I missed it too! Happy Birthday!

It sounds like you’re really enjoying yourselves over there. Hopefully I can get some money for the bus by the last weekend of October.. maybe come down for Halloween or something.. that’d be cool.

That would be cool. 😀 And thanks. Just give us warning. Hopefully we’ll have our own computers by then. This whole using mom & merv’s computers is really freakin’ annoying.
