On snowshoeing…

Snowshoeing was awesome. I do not, however, recommend snowshoeing for two hours and then working for 8.5 hours. I’m tired and sore. I just had a bath, though, using up my one and only lush bath bomb I was saving for a good bath day. Today was a good bath day. I feel so much better now. I’m anxious to go snowshoeing again. If only I owned some snowshoes.

I have a lovely watch strap, one of those velcro ones that were popular a few years ago. I just got this one. I love it. Now I just need a watch to put into it. I’ve got one of mom’s old watches, but it doesn’t come apart the right way to be attached to this strap.

I’m now incredibly hungry. I think I’ll go find something to snack on, and then play some more Hordes.

Oh, and here are a few pictures of today’s snowshoeing trip…

Wow, beautiful scenery… I miss winter hiking. Hopefully next year my feet will have healed enough that I can go back to it. You’re making me want to go so badly!

It’s awesome to be hiking on top of a mountain, too. We didn’t have enough time before work to get to the Peak – we want to go back next week if we can. I love it. I want snowshoes now.
