A mental break from work…

I am frustrated. My mountain biking course got cancelled. It was supposed to start this evening, and I found out last night when I got home from seeing Hitchhiker’s Guide at 11:30pm. I am disappointed. I have options, though – I can either join the Tuesday evening course in progress (they’ve had one class,) sign up for one that starts in a month or two, or get my money back. Tara can’t do the Tuesday course. I was looking forward to doing it with her, partly because I like doing stuff with her and partly because I was scared to go alone. So I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Must decide soon though. If I could find someone to join me… Bleh.

April photo journal and also May photo journal are viewable, by the way. In case you missed last night’s post. I will place a teaser from each one here

From April – a cyclist watches the Seabus leave Lonsdale Quay

From May – Jenny Lee shooting at a clay pigeon. Yes, they gave me a gun. This is proof.

Crap I’m jealous, where can I do that?
I fell in love with target shooting the first time I held an air rifle.

Our friend Ian who also has family up north has a 16 gauge shotgun. It has a lot of kick, he tells me. I’m hoping to try it when we go up for the wedding.

Otherwise, I think you’d have to join a shooting range club or something. Not sure how that works.

Or get a job with an outdoor magazine company that takes you on field trips!
