We just sorted out our finances for the next few weeks. Any plans for extra-curricular activity have basically been nixed. It’s probably a good thing I slipped the purchase of a photoshop book in under the wire before we went through it. If I want to do anything that is fun or interesting, or if I want to save up for a new computer, then I really need to find a second source of income. Unfortunately I have yet to successfully come up with something that will work.

Back when I had three jobs, I swore to myself that I wouldn’t do that again. Sure, there was plenty of money coming in, but I didn’t have any time to do anything besides sleep. I was so exhausted, and I just couldn’t find the energy to do anything. Not that I could use the money then to do fun things either, since we were saving to move out west at the time, but still.

I just don’t know what to do. There are so many things I’d like to be a part of, places I want to go, things I want to try – and all of them need money. I am, unfortunately, not learning patience from the neverending experience of having to wait for everything I’ve ever wanted. I may well be getting worse at patience.

Anyhow. The Picture a Day is up. Clickety-click.

It’s not finding things to do for free that is the problem – I’m fully capable of that, and have been doing it for years.

The problem is that there are a bunch of things that I REALLY want to do that require money, or require the purchase of equipment which requires money.
