For two nights in a row I’ve dreamed that I missed an important site I had to take photos of, a painfully obvious one that I actually did take photos of but didn’t send them along. I wake up in a bit of a panic then realize that the place I’m thinking of doesn’t exist. It throws me off a bit though for the first few minutes I’m awake.
I haven’t been able to bike to work this week. Adam borrowed the wee Giant (my pseudo-commuter bike) for the canoe/biking trip he went on with his work, as one of the girls on the trip didn’t have a bike. Unfortunately somewhere in transit, something happened to the front brakes that I’m going to have to fix. I haven’t taken a look at it yet, though. He also brought me home some slicks to put on (smooth road tires to replace the bumpy mountain biking tires) which will be an interesting process, since taking the rear tire off is challenging. It will be nice to ride to work with the slicks – I think they’ll make a huge difference really.
Adam was crazy grumpy this morning when he woke up. I got up after him, around when he was leaving, and he was really annoyed about things. His finger brace for the burst ligament bothers him, getting in the way of things like tying shoes and grasping things. He has to wear it for six weeks, too. Ick. Plus our bedroom is pretty messy, and messes really bother him. If we had dressers for our clothes, it would be easier to keep that room clean. I kind of want to just go clean the room up before I head to work. I just don’t like when he’s all grumpy like that, I feel ultimately responsible for making him feel better.
I’ve a sore throat. I’m going to assume it’s just a morning sore throat thing and will go away by the end of the morning, because I don’t feel like getting a cold right now.
