Tonight I am melancholy. Could be the music that the ipod’s been dishing out to me. Or maybe I’m just tired. I had a nice time this evening out with people, so there’s nothing that specifically happened to make me melancholy.
I’ve finished another book. If I were doing the 50 books in a year thing… let’s see…
Last Chance to See – Douglas Adams
All Families are Psychotic – Douglas Coupland
Into the Green – Charles de Lint
Mortified – David Nadelberg
A Walk in the Woods – Bill Bryson
I think that’s it. Might read Eldest next, since I read Eragon. Haven’t seen the movie yet. The problem with Eldest is that we have it only in hardcover, which is annoying to carry around on transit, where I do most of my reading. Then again, pretty much everything I have to read right now is hardcover… so I guess I’m stuck either way. Unless I decide to read Brian Greene’s Fabric of the Cosmos, and I’m just not sure I’m up to that kind of physics theory right now, if ever. I tune out when things get too math-like. Just not my thing.
Perhaps instead of committing to the Photo a Day project, I’ll work on just posting a picture a day maybe. Not necessarily taken on that day… just something to do.
Here is today’s photo, Adam walking on the beach in Stanley Park.
