I actually posted this at I have a Secret, but I wanted to put it here too, because this whole thing really bugged me.

I got so angry tonight I was yelling at the TV (which is amusing since I have no voice, so it sounded more like squeaking than anything else…)

I was watching something with Jay, and the commercials were on. There was a commercial about the Grinch movie, how he discovers that maybe christmas isn’t something that can be bought in a store, being all non-consumerism as the Grinch is meant to be… and then it breaks off and says something like “But just in case he[the grinch]’s wrong, there’s always Visa.”

That is so completely wrong that I think Dr. Seuss must have turned over in his grave. Everything the Grinch represents is anti-consumerism… and this is blatant disregard for that fact. That is what made me angry.
