    house call!

alright, j.l., the doctor is in!

now this suggestion might sound a little yucky and sticky, but apparently it works. mix together some cooking oil and a bit of honey. warm it up. take an eye dropper and give your unhappy canals a couple squeezes. this is some old remedy that my family has said to have used forever….. none of them have died from the concoction (as far as I know *winkwink*).

other than that, keep your throat bundled up and your nose clear of congestion. all those passages are attached, and one will always affect the other in these scenarios. avoid dairy, don’t submerge your head in water. every singer’s fighting cure for aches 🙂

    take care! feel better!

      Re: house call!

Well, I had a superhot bath without submerging my head (although I did surround my neck with superhot water, which was nice.) I’ve drank more water today than I have all month, I think. And I put some oil in the bath that cleared up any sinus congestion I might have had… cypress, I think. I’m out of rosemary.

Thinking about putting the hot water bottle on that side of my head.

      Thanks! 🙂

Hot water bottle = good idea!

You can enhance the goodness of the hot water bottle of you boil some water, soak some peppermint tea bags in it and soak them (with the method of your choice) into whatever towel you cover the hot water bottle with. Helps detox. Hope you feel better soon. 🙂
