This is the first chance I’ve had to post photos in the past couple of months. Here are some digital snapshots we’ve taken.
First things first: The Dyke.
This is the sign across the road from us, where you go up onto the Dyke. I can’t help it, it makes me laugh every time.
Keiko is a Sheba Inu, Japan’s national dog. She’s not much bigger than Dayle, and acts a lot like a cat most of the time. All in all, she’s a weird, fox-like dog.
Sera didn’t much like Keiko when they first met. The whole situation amused me.
Keiko and Dayle have established a sort of truce. Keiko knows he doesn’t have claws, so she’s not scared of him. In fact, she thinks Dayle is just an animated toy made just for her. It’s awesome.
Scrappy is mom’s other dog. He’s big and loving and a whole lot of fun, once you get him to stop jumping on you.
Mom’s backyard in the fog, and of course,
Mom’s backyard in the sun, with a happy Scrappy.
